Using the Gold Standard Brand
LICENSING AGREEMENTS AND CONDITIONS OF USE
The right to display the Gold Standard logo is a proprietary right that belongs to the Gold Standard Foundation. Carbon market actors can acquire the license to use the brand and disply the logo in various ways. For each intended use, the Gold Standard logo is complemented by a logo denominator, or identifier, which is associated with specific conditions of use. Each approved user is required to sign a legally-binding licensing agreement with the Gold Standard Foundation that specifies these conditions.
Conditions of use, logo identifiers and samples of current logo displays for each eligible user category are shown in the pages to the left. For more information, download the Brand Users' Manual or contact the secretariat.
